Charlie Burgers is a dog that appears in the episode "Charlie Burgers" and Fleas Help Me" and is a recurring character of Cartoon Network's animated series Uncle Grandpa. During Charlie Burgers his toy get's stuck on Angry Man Johnson's house so he get's the help of Uncle Grandpa and the others to help him get it back. He is voiced by Brian Posehn.
Charlie Burgers is a light brown furry dog who walks on his hind legs. He has a long, shiny, black nose and black eyes. He has two sets of three rounded teeth and he has rounded lumps of fur that come down from the front and sides of him. Charlie Burgers also has a tail with rounded furs going along it.
Charlie Burgers is your average pet dog. He enjoys playing with dog toys such as rubber balls, frisbees, bones, and other squeaky toys. He thinks that it is his duty to bark whenever he meets someone new. Charlie Burgers also showed an interest for pizza, as he tried to eat Pizza Steve in the episode Charlie Burgers. Charlie is a high-spirited fun loving guy who wants nothing more than to just play in his yard with his large variety of chew toys and just do dog things. However, Charlie Burgers usually gets in trouble with getting his toys stuck on top of someone else's roof and it's never easy getting them down. Although Charlie is an active and energetic dog who enjoys bouncing around everywhere and having a good time, he is also quite nervous and fearful of many things. For instance, in his debut episode, he was shown to be scared of going onto Angry Man Johnson's lawn because he is afraid that he will become an addition to his dog graveyard. He was also shown to run and hide from Uncle Grandpa's RV when it began to fall in his yard, and was pretty scared of a lot of the things that were happening on the wild ride Uncle Grandpa took him on on their adventure to get his favorite ball back. However, Charlie Burgers was able to pull himself together and get through the insanity so he could overcome his fears and get his ball back. Even though he is afraid of such things, Charlie Burgers is not afraid to take risks and give up things that he loves. In the same episode, Charlie Burgers sacrificed his favorite ball to save himself and his friends from a black hole despite all the hard work he went through to get it. Charlie Burgers always looks on the bright side of things and always knows that there's a light at the end of the tunnel, so no matter what the situation may be, Charlie Burgers is always happy and always knows how to have fun.
Charlie Burgers lives in a backyard without a house in front of it. His backyard has green grass and a tree in it and is surrounded by a wooden fence except for the side where the house should be. He has a red doghouse in his yard and a food bowl with some bones in it next to it. On the left side of his yard is his next door neighbor Angry Man Johnson's house. He is afraid to go over there because he doesn't want to end up in his dog graveyard. On the left side of his yard is two other houses. One of which is a yellow house and a blue one where he has a bunch of his dog toys stuck on the roof.
Uncle Grandpa helped out Charlie just like he would do with any kid he helps out. At first Charlie was confused to see someone like Uncle Grandpa but he grew to like him just like with the rest of the gang. Uncle Grandpa and the others decided to help Charlie in his time of need and later on in Charlie Burgers he sacrificed his ball to save everyone from going into the black hole. Charlie helped Uncle Grandpa when his nose was puffed up like a beach ball in Uncle Grandpa Retires and Uncle Grandpa thanked him.
Belly Bag was very fond of Charlie when they first met in Charlie Burgers, Belly Bag really liked it when Charlie was sniffing him. Belly Bag and the others decided to help Charlie in his time of need and later on in Charlie Burgers he sacrificed his ball to save everyone from going into the black hole.
When Charlie and Pizza Steve first met, Charlie was enticed to eat him until Pizza Steve told him not to. Pizza Steve and the others decided to help Charlie in his time of need and later on in Charlie Burgers he sacrificed his ball to save everyone from going into the black hole. Pizza Steve decided to forget about Charlie when he was about to be sucked in the black hole showing that Pizza Steve is very cowardly in trying to help Charlie.
When Charlie and Mr. Gus first met, Charlie was very eager to see him because of his aged dinosaur bones. Mr. Gus and the others decided to help Charlie in his time of need and later on in Charlie Burgers he sacrificed his ball to save everyone from going into the black hole.
When Tiger and Charlie first met, Charlie a bit skeptical about her as he growled at her tail, she roared at him and he immediately respected her. Tiger and the others decided to help Charlie in his time of need and later on in Charlie Burgers he sacrificed his ball to save everyone from going into the black hole.
When Charlie ditched his car to run towards Uncle Grandpa in Uncle Grandpa Retires, his car crashed and T-boned into Priscilla's car making her lose the race.
After Charlie poped Uncle Grandpa's nose in Uncle Grandpa Retires, he was launched on to the dome of Ule Gapa's vehicle, this angered Ule Gapa and caused him to crash into a small pond nearby.
